A Day With Jeff Tatarchuk
I like Jeff.
He's masculine. (He has a beard, dead-lifts a tonne, is tall, and doesn't naturally smile that much.)
He holds and expresses such an authentic faith.
He married a beautiful Dominican girl from New York, because he wanted to.
He started his own Cross Fit gym, because he wanted to.
He started a global media network/hub for SDA youth called HayStack, because he wanted to.
He and his team of volunteers will change history tomorrow (hopefully) by breaking the Guinness World Record potluck. Thats right, the worlds largest ever potluck!
Yep, this kid doesn't just talk about stuff, he does it. He lives it. And, he's not just one of those forward thinking dudes that are always running around like a raging machine; those guys that don't have time for reality and are never living in the present but rather living in their whimsical thoughts and Wall Street Journals... Nah, he's calm and chilled.
I met Jeff 7 years ago in Tennessee at a youth conference. As a Cali native he's inherited a real connection with alternative youth culture. I've really appreciated his encouragement through the years.
Check out this interview. Epic stuff. I was able to meet up with Jeff in Michigan and we had some really life affirming discussions and brother moments.
If you're at General Conference, you don't want to miss tomorrows spectacular pot luck.
